Scrap Metal Sorting and Valuation

Handheld XRF analysis provides elemental concentration, alloy identification and scrap value. In foundry applications, XRF can also determine tramp element concentration. Use to test for: Low Alloy Steel, Tool Steel, Stainless Steel, Nickel alloys, Cobalt alloys (Brass and Bronze), Titanium alloys, Aluminium alloys, Exotic alloys.

Hazardous elements like lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), chromium (Cr), arsenic (As), antimony (Sb) and barium (Ba) can all be detected at the part per million levels.
